NiMH (Nickel-Metal Hydride) - Definition

NiMH is a term used to describe Nickel-Metal Hydride, which is the same material that would be found in some types of battery packs. Different from NiCad batteries, these batteries are not comprised with heavy metals that are known for causing toxic effects. Additionally, NiMH batteries are capable of storing up to 50% more power than that of the NiCad battery.
