Capture - Definition

Capture means to obtain information into a storage area or device for future reference. For example, when cutting text or copying text, it is captured and generally placed in the clipboard. It can then be pasted into an alternate location. It also means to assign a port to a printer, usually one being shared and accessed over a network. Documents that you print are sent to the printer through the Captured Port.
