Browser Cache - Definition

Browser Cache refers to a temporary record of your internet activity, including text, images, sounds, and downloads, that is stored on your computer's hard drive. When you visit a web page, the files that make up that page are stored in cache so that the next time you visit that site, the page is pulled from the cache and not the web. This gives you quicker access to the web page, but also means you might not be retrieving the latest version of it. When you clear the cache, the browser now has to retrieve the page from the web. Clearing your cache can make it easier or faster to access some Google AdSense functions.
